Grape Varieties: A blend of 88% Shiraz and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon the fruit was sourced from Magill (Adelaide), Coonawarra, Adelaide Plains and Kalimna (Barossa Valley).

Total acids: 6.7 grams per litre. pH: 3.52. Alcohol: 12.7%

Vintage Conditions: Hot and dry, with growing season rainfall less than half the average. The hot weather continued through vintage.

Tasting Notes:size> This was the first Grange to utilise Coonawarra grapes. Two gold and three silver medals in Australian wine shows between 1963 and 1968. Considered a lighter year. One of three Grange vintages (1952 and 1953 are the others) produced in half (375ml) as well as full (750ml) bottles.
