Tasting note: Attractive bright gold. Engaging drier-styled opening bouquet features lime juice, mustard pickle, brine and white pepper. Second pass finds spicy salsa / tomato chutney and green olive to the fore. A soft-textured, pure, fresh delivery opens with capsicum, par boiled zucchini and delicate black pepper flavours; the barrel influence kicks in late adding cough lozenge, hints of vanilla and walnuts to the finish. Concludes mildly salty, long, light and easy. Almost endlessly complex, this is fabulous Anejo. 40% Alc./Vol.
