Macedon Ridge Brut

Excellent frothy white mousse that shows good hold. Once dissipated it reveals a pale salmon pink base colour with an exceptionally fine and very persistent bead. Ripe pear notes are intermixed with hints of winter strawberry and yeast lees followed by subtle baked bread and citrus end notes. Refreshing palate flavours of pear sit alongside nuances of winter strawberry and a touch of apple with yeast lees characters following. Clean dry finish with well balanced acidity. Very flavoursome and refreshing with an aftertaste of pear, apple, winter strawberry and yeast lees.
