Produced from predominately Shiraz, co-fermented with a small amount of Viognier, the 2010 vintage again provided excellent fruit due to the superb weather at the start of the growing season.
Outstanding totally opaque inky black colour with black crimson hue showing excellent glass cling. The nose displays perfumed scents of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice, spice and toast notes. Full bodied the palate possesses rich opulent fruit flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice and confectionary with a light toast overlay. Very fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary.
Drink over the next 3-4 years. (2011-2015)
