Opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark purple red hue. On the nose liquorice and ripe blackberry top notes are followed by some dark plum and a hint of spice. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich ripe dark plum and liquorice flavours followed by some toasty oak and spice. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark plum, liquorice and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2012-2017).
