We're always on the look out for Sparkling Shiraz that stands out sub $30. Unfortunately they're few and far between and the only alternative is to fork out $50 per bottle on super premiums or do without. All the more reason to take advantage of this superb, very reasonably priced sparkling Shiraz.
Chances are we may not discover anything this good before Christmas!
The wine pours an excellent purple mauve mousse showing very good hold with very fine and persistent bead. Very deep dark purple crimson red base wine colour. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice, confectionary and spice showing excellent lift. Very rich and concentrated the palate
delivers mouthfilling flavours of perfectly ripened blackberry and dark plum fruit followed by some liquorice and spice. Creamy mouthfeel. Excellent length with long blackberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
Will continue to evolve over the next 4-5 years.
