Opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of aniseed, blackberry, plum and confectionary followed by a hint of clove. Medium to full bodied the palate displays flavours of blackberry, plum and aniseed followed by some confectionary and spice. Very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of aniseed, plum, spice and toast. A refined cool climate Syrah.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
