Mauve brick red colour with brick red hue. Aromas of plum, liquorice and spice with an exotic apricot end note. Light to medium bodied the palate displays flavours of plum, spice and liquorice with moderate length and power. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins with modest aftertaste of plum, liquorice and spice. Certainly nothing to get too excited about, although, it did somehow manage to win a trophy at the 2009 Yarra Valley Wine Show….
Drink over the next 2 years (2010-2012).
