A very well made medium bodied, soft dry red that combines Heathcote’s richness with the elegance of Yarra Valley
Near opaque dark red mauve colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of ripe mulberry, cedar, blackcurrant and spice with just a hint of tobacco also present. The palate displays medium body weight with flavours of ripe mulberry, confectionary, sweet tobacco and cedar. Good length and depth. Very fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of mulberry, blackcurrant and cedar.
