This Pinot is a blend of the 3 clones 114, 115 & MV6. Oak maturation took place in predominantly used French oak barriques for a period of 12 months.
Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry, plum and spice displaying good varietal character and intensity. Medium weight with flavours of dark cherry, strawberry and plum with a spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins, slightly dry but balanced. Good length with aftertaste of spice and dark cherry.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
