Totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep black crimson hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice allsorts and confectionary. It does not have quite the aromatic complexity or intensity of the 2006 Tatiarra Cambrian Shiraz which was tasted along side this wine. Rich full bodied palate flavours of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum followed by spice and blackpepper characters on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins with long aftertaste of blackpepper, liquorice and blackberry.
Cellar 4-5 years (2014-2015).
