Brilliant pale straw colour with water like hue. Aroma of unripe gooseberry, followed by ripe gooseberry and just a hint of tropical fruit. The nose does not have the lift of the 2005 or 2004 vintage. The palate is very refined – showing elegance. Refined flavours of citrus, ripe and unripe gooseberry, with just a touch of sherbet. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of citrus, sherbet and gooseberry.
