The vineyard is located north of the 45th parallel at the foot of the Pisa Range. Deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue – medium body. Top note of dark cherry and spice, followed by anise and strawberry, showing strong varietal character. The palate has excellent length and depth with flavours of liquorice, black cherry and spice evident. Cherry and spice aftertaste.
