An excellent wine which mirrors perfectly the 2005 vintage. Opaque black purple colour with purple hue. Superb, lifted nose of blackberry, black cherry, spice and liquorice. The palate has an unusual juxtaposition of being both ‘joosy’ yet elegant. The fruit bomb component is contained by a tight structure. Flavours of spice, white and black pepper are enhanced by fine, dryish tannins. Perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of liquorice, mocha, spice and blackberry.
