A commercial style. Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Lifted nose with perfumed violet top note followed by spice, plum and vanilla, showing good varietal character. The palate shows modest complexity, with flavours of plum and spice over a background of stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins. Plum and stewed fruit aftertaste.
