2005 Mr Riggs Viognier

Mr. Riggs Voignier is made in a restrained style compared with the full ‘overblown’ style that Ben Riggs produces for Zonte’s Footsteps. Bright, straw colour with pale straw hue. Aroma of apricot, with a hint of ripe orange and spice. The palate has good weight and depth, with flavours of orange, spiced and dried apricot. The back palate is very spicy. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of apricot, orange and musk.
Cellar 2-3 years (2007-2008)
Alc/Vol: 13.5%
