Bright, deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. Perfumed nose of cherry, spice and violets followed by fresh raspberry. On the palate raspberry and strawberry flavours emerge followed by light spice and cherry. There is a touch of black pepper on the palate. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of cherry, strawberry and spice, with the black pepper characteristics persisting.
