Medium body, crimson colour with deep crimson hue – the colour is holding well. Perfumed nose of spice, vanilla and plum delivering a lifted sniff with black pepper end note. The palate is a touch lighter than the nose suggests – flavours of plum, stewed fruit and black pepper create a spicy sensation supported by fine dry but slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit.
