A Merlot which displays complexity and impressive varietal character. Very deep black mauve colour with deep mauve hue. Aroma of mulberry and liquorice, followed by spice, cedar and a touch of violet. The mulberry fruit flavours are quite evident on the palate followed by plum, confectionary, liquorice allsorts and cedar. Fine grained tannins in excellent balance. Aftertaste of mulberry, leather and truffle.
