This is a much more impressive wine than the Sud. The colour is holding superbly. Opaque black crimson colour with mauve hue. Classic Heathcote blackberry spice nose followed by liquorice, vanilla and violets. Generous palate flavours of plum and spice followed by black pepper and dark chocolate. Fine grained tannins – Perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of spice and black pepper.
