Black saturated colour with black purple hue. Perfumed nose, with aroma of violets and liquorice allsorts. The palate is relatively tight, in fact much tighter than the 2002 Laughing Magpie. Mouth filling, with flavours of plum, spice and stewed fruit, followed by stewed cherries and liquorice allsorts in the background. Aftertaste of spice and white pepper.
