This wine does not live up to its past reputation. Very deep crimson, brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of leather and cedar followed by a hint of earth and plum. The leather and cedar flavours persist on the palate. Dry chalky tannins. Aftertaste of leather, cedar, stewed fruit and spice.
