Very deep – virtually opaque black purple colour. Appealing nose, with aroma of violets, vanilla, plum and black pepper, followed by a liquorice allsorts endnote. The palate has good length and depth, with flavours of plum and liquorice, supported by fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of vanilla, plum and liquorice.
