Deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of stewed black cherries and spice followed by end notes of blackpepper, tar and liquorice. The texture is velvet smooth, with blackpepper, ripe black cherries, spice and liquorice flavours. Fine grained tannins, excellent length with very long mocca, blackcurrant aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2006-2007)
Robert Parker's Review
The 2002 Zinfandel McLaren Vale possesses a deep fruited character along with pepper, fig, and dried flower notes in its opulent, full-bodied, enticing personality. It should drink well for 3-4 years
