An elegant wine, but does not justify its reserve status. Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of spice, violets and blackberry, followed by white pepper. The palate structure is elegant, with flavours of stewed fruit and spice, followed by a slightly earthy endnote. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice.
