Grant Burge is working hard to elevate the status of this wine, lifting the quality with each vintage. Opaque black purple colour. Delightful nose of confectionary, spice and violets. The palate is relatively tight and will evolve over the next few years. Flavours of stewed fruit, plum and spice emerge and are followed by blackpepper back palate flavours. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance with very long blackpepper spice and liquorice aftertaste.
