The Yarra Valley component seems to restrain the flavour profile of the more robust Heathcote fruit. Crimson colour. Medium body. The nose displays hints of leaf and tea leaf, followed by cedar and spice. The palate weight is light but drops away. Tight knit construction with flavours of blackcurrant and cedar evident. Hints of plum with dry tannin aftertaste.
