Very deep crimson colour with crimson edge. The nose is quite pronounced with aroma of stewed fruit, plum and spice, followed by a hint of earth and liquorice. On the palate plum and liquorice flavour are dominant with a layer of toasted oak. Dry tannin structure, followed by a long aftertaste of liquorice, spicy oak and plum.
