The wine is made from a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 40% Shiraz. Deep crimson colour, with mauve crimson hue. Very appealing nose with aroma of spice, violets and blackcurrant, followed by a ripe plum end note. The palate has length and begins with spice and plum flavours, and is followed by very long peppery back palate flavours which persist. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, followed by a very long blackpepper plum aftertaste.
