Made from dry grown, low yielding vines. Medium body crimson colour. Aroma of spicy pepper with hints of liquorice over a background of raspberry, with black pepper end notes. The palate has good weight, with liquorice plum and raspberry flavours, and a touch of chocolate on the back palate fine grained firmish dry tannins. The length is modest, and has some shortfalls in concentration, but otherwise a good early drinker.RATING: 81/100 VALUE: XXX/5
