An elegant, yet mouthfilling Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour, with crimson hue. Excellent lifted nose, with aroma of violets, liquorice, ripe plum, vanilla and spice. The palate has plenty of flavour and concentration without being a big fruit bomb. Flavours of blackpepper, spice and liquorice fill the mouth. Velvet smooth tannins, followed by a very long aftertaste of ripe plum, spice, blackpepper and liquorice. Cellar 4 – 5 years. (2005 – 2006)RATING: 93/100 VALUE: XXXXX/5
