This wine has been made by adding whole bunches of grapes and stalks to crushed juice in order to create an added layer of complexity. The colour is crimson, brick red, and quite light. Delicate lifted nose of spice and strawberry, providing a good aromatic lift. Medium palate weight with strawberry and spice dominant. The acidity is a touch high and the tannins a little firm at this stage. Aftertaste of spice, cherry, earth and strawberry followed by a warm end. Cellar 2-3 years (2005-2006) Alc/Vol: 13.0% RATING: 81/100 VALUE: XXX/5
