Made from a blend of 75% Cabernet, 10% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Yields were restricted to 2 tonnes per acre. The wine shows a very deep brick red colour, with a brick red hue. On the nose, aroma of leather, earth, truffle and blackcurrant followed by an acceptable hint of tea leaf. The palate shows earthy truffle flavours with firmish dry tannins and again a hint of tea leaf emerging. Aftertaste of earth, spice and truffle.
