A top Heathcote Shiraz made by Andrew Millis who spent a year working with Wild Duck Creek’s Dave Anderson. Opaque black crimson colour with very deep crimson hue. Magnificent powerful Heathcote nose of mocca, plum, spice, toasted oak, blackberry and just a hint of mint. The palate fruit flavours are opulent with spice, blackpepper, ripe plum and earth evident. Mouthfilling concentrate with the Rhone like earthiness persisting. Fine grained tannins, followed by a very long aftertaste of earth, plum, spice and blackpepper. Cellar 5-8 years (2007 - 2010) Alc./Vol. 13.9%
