An outstanding example of the varietal blend and in present terms offers exceptional value for money. Very deep crimson mauve colour. Outstanding nose with aroma of spice and hints of earth with blackpepper and liquorice end notes. The Grenache grape dominates the nose and palate and provides a Rhone like drinking experience. Excellent weight and palate flavours, superb ripe fruit. Flavours of liquorice, spice and raspberry are to be found in abundance with very distinct blackpepper back palate. Excellent length and persistence with very long raspberry, plum, liquorice and spice aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
