An impressive Foundation Shiraz. Opaque, crimson colour with brick red hue. The nose is very impressive, with aroma of vanillin oak, spice, liquorice, violets and ripe plum. The palate is generous and mouthfilling, with blackpepper flavours dominant, followed by layers of spice, vanilla, liquorice and plum. Excellent length and concentration. Fine grained, firmish but perfectly balanced tannins, followed by a very long blackpepper, plum, spice and liquorice aftertaste.
