This wine oozes 'sex appeal' from the first sniff - a wine that is made to command immediate attention, for its abundance of aroma and flavour. Totally opaque crimson purple colour - vibrant with youth, and clinging tightly onto the walls of the glass. The nose is very appealing with its almost brazen use of spicy oak and fruit. Aroma of cinnamon and clove excite the senses and are enhanced by layers of blackpepper, liquorice and spice. The palate displays an excellent concentration of flavour with loads of ripe fruit flavour being counter pointed by cinnamon and cloves. Liquorice, chocolate and blackberry flavours are enhanced by very fine, almost velvet smooth tannins. Perfect balance with exceptionally long blackpepper aftertaste. A classic Fox Creek Shiraz.
