Made from a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Pinot Noir. A well made commercial quaffer, which has been awarded a gold medal in the 1999 Victorian Wine Show. Medium body, crimson mauve colour. The nose displays lifted aroma of spice and fresh raspberries finishing with an inky cinnamon end note. On the palate, there is good weight and structure but relatively short with raspberry spice flavours dominant. Fine quite firm tannin structure, and then a burst of flavour at the end, with spicy raspberry aftertaste. Drink over the next two years.
