A very subtle, light red. Deep crimson mauve colour, which was quite impressive. On the nose aroma of game and beetroot finally emerge over some spicy end notes, but all very subtle. Delicate palate flavour with spice and cherry predominating. Fine grained tannins, but far too dry and lingering too long on the aftertaste. Slightly warm finish. Cellar 2-3 years.
