A superb wine and an essay in velvet smooth tannins and perfect ripe fruit. Opaque crimson colour. Superb perfumed nose, lifted aromas of liquorice, plum, confectionary, vanilla and spice with a slightly earthy leather end note. The palate is totally mouthfilling and rolls out to a spectacular aftertaste which lasts for several minutes. Flavours of liquorice, cherry, black plums, spice and cocoa create a superb flavour experience. The tannins are velvet smooth, silky and perfectly matched to the layers of fruit. Perfect balance with long lingering after flavour of plum, spice and liquorice. Cellar 5-8 years.
