This is a heavy weight. A solid, rather chunky shiraz, that spreads itself totally over the palate and just sits there. Opaque brick red colour. Very ripe stewed fruit and vanilla oak aromas, with some spice in the background. The fruit planks itself on the mouth, encompassing the palate with ripe plum and dark cherry flavours, with some spicy oak. Fine tannin structure. A classic McLaren Vale style. Cellar 3 - 5 years.
