Made to commemorate the founder of the Tatachilla winery, CyrilPridmore, who established the winery in 1901. This isTatachilla's benchmark red and displays the vineyards commitmentto pursuing quality. Made from a blend of Shiraz and CabernetFranc, fruit was individually selected from small vineyards inMcLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Padthaway, then aged inAmerican oak for 18 months.THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING SHIRAZAND A WORTHY COMMEMORATION TO THE FOUNDER OF THE TATACHILLAWINERY.Tasting Notes: Opaque deep crimson mauve colour - delightfulnose with vanillin American oak complimenting the blackberryspice aromas. The palate is rich, with excellent depth andconcentration of flavour - ripe plums, hint of chocolates, blackberry and black pepper flavours are all balanced againstthe vanillin oak background - fine grained tannin structure andlong blackberry spice aftertaste. Cellar 8-10 years - anoutstanding red.\Z
