Skilled Italians have long known how to transform it into one of the world's most seductive brandies - Grappa. The tasting panel at Nicks Wine Merchants taste hundreds of wines each month. Some are good, few are excellent while many are bad or indifferent. How do we arrive at the scores we do? The rating system we use is by no means arbitrary, rather it is methodical, transparent and self policing.
