2014 Felton Road Bannockburn Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Fresh white peach and nectarine aromas are followed by a touch of dried honey, cashew, faint nougat and light spice. The palate is reflective of the noses freshness featuring lively light to medium weighted flavours of ripe white peaches over more subtle ripe pear and melon characters with some underlying dried honey and light spicy cashew also present. Dry finish with bright fresh acidity. Excellent concentration with a long white peach, dried honey, delicate cashew and spice aftertaste.
