2013 Huia Sauvignon Blanc

Certified organic the wine displays a brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Intense aromas of asparagus and grassy herbaceous characters leap from the glass over some capsicum, citrus and very light pencil shavings. The palate is filled with flavours of fresh asparagus, herbaceous grassy gooseberry and capsicum with underlying lime and pencil shaving characters. Clean crisp dry finish with a long aftertaste of asparagus, fresh capsicum, grassy gooseberry, lime and pencil shavings. An excellent example of Sauvignon Blanc in the greener side of the flavour spectrum.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
