2013 Castellare di Castellina Chianti Classico

Made from a blend of 95% Sangioveto and 5% Canaiolo. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Restrained nose with aromas of ripe cherries emerging over subtle earth, cedar and spice. Light to medium weight with a soft savoury mouthfeel the palate has flavours of ripe cherries, earth, cedar and spice. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of earthy ripe cherries and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
