2013 Arakoon Sellicks Beach Shiraz

Matured in a mixture of new and old French and American oak. Outstanding impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Intense aromatics of liquorice, ripe blackberry and dark plum are followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Big and rich the palate features voluptuously textured flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum jam over a background of vanillin cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum jam and vanillin cedar. A big voluptuous McLaren Vale red.
