Totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep dark purple red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas open the noses account and are followed by dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. The palate possesses superb fruit purity and richness with opulently textured flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate decorating the palate with some underlying vanillin oak and a touch of spice on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak.
