2012 Storm Ridge Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light red hue. The nose possesses good perfume with scents of ripe dark cherries and strawberries emanating from the glass followed by some toasty anise like characters and spice. Light in weight and possessing a soft savoury mouthfeel the palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries followed by some lightly toasted cedar, meatiness and spice. Dry finish with soft velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, lightly toasted cedar and spice. Drink over the next 3-4 years (2014-2018). Alc 13.5%
