2012 Pepper Tree Merlot

Deep dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of mulberry, some sour cherry, earthy cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has flavours of ripe mulberry, dark cherries, subtle bay leaf, cedar and spice. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, bay leaf and spicy cedar.
Cellar 3-4 years.
